About the Hamiltons

Jeff and Jayme have had the privilege of serving families for over 20 years in pastoral ministry. The Hamilton’s passion is to help people realize their identity in Christ, discover life’s purpose, engage in meaningful relationships, and live God honoring lives.

They have two college-age children; son Justin loves playing drums, missions, and “family nights,” and daughter Jordanne is into songwriting and tea.  The Hamilton’s have been married since 1992.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, John moved to California to finish a Bachelors Degree in Music Education at San Diego State University. John’s three children are grown and out of the house but he and his wife, Christy, have enjoyed their Mission Viejo home for more than 20 years. John is a Realtor for Century 21 representing real estate clients mostly in South Orange County, as well as playing in a band most weekend nights.

Kristen, along with her husband Jerome live in San Juan Capistrano. They have 4 kids aged adult to early elementary and one crazy dog, Rosie. She is a happy home schooling mom to the younger kiddos.

Larry is happily married to Caroline with 2 adult boys John and David. The Ericksons have 3 grandchildren and hoping for more. Larry recently retired after years as a locksmith, with the hope of doing kingdom work and ministering to his family. Caroline has an editorial/writing business and has had the privilege of working on three Bible projects, including the “New Spirit Filled Life Bible.”  Larry serves on the church council until fall of 2017.

Doug and Atousa Johnson have lived in the OC for many years. With 5 adult children, 5 grandchildren and more to come, the meaningfulness of God first and family second comes as no big surprise.  They both work with an employment placement business. Atousa helps lead the Women’s Ministry as well as serving on the Advisory Team.

Isabele and her husband Rafael found Hills Church after getting married and moving to Aliso Viejo from Rio De Janeiro in 2014. Isabele grew up a pastor’s kid in Brazil and wants children to know the love of God. The Nascimentos are also a part of the worship team, where Isabele leads and Rafa is a drummer.

ADVISORY TEAM

Hills Church (Laguna Niguel Foursquare Church) is organized governmentally by the bylaws of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.There is an elected Church Council (“Advisory Team”) that brings oversight and advice to the Lead Pastor regarding the management of the assets of the church.  

Advisory Team members must meet the spiritual eldership requirements, demonstrate faithful service to the church, and personally live by God’s financial standards. They serve terms of 2 years and are eligible for ratification to an additional 2-year term.
