This includes Jacaranda Christian Fellowship, a thriving local church, and Jacaranda Creations, a muliti-pronged approach bringing hope to women and children in the slums of Nairobi through vocational training (sewing), education (Jacaranda Academics) and health care (Jacaranda Care).
TIM & KRISTINA O’TOOLE
Crossroads Ireland | Galway, Ireland
Having started from “scratch” with only a couple of contacts in Galway, The O’Tooles – Tim, Kristina, Elijah, and Madison = have invested six years sowing the love of God into west Ireland. They started the initiative “Serve The City – Galway,” partnering with local homeless shelters, refugee centers, orphanages, serving in areas within the community that previously have not been open to Christians. The O’Tooles have also begun a house church, discipling new Irish believers, and teaching them how to disciple others, and launch house meetings in their villages.
Tree of Life ‘84 | Esteli, Nicaragua
After being abandoned to die as an infant, Mauricio was rescued from death and began living in the confidence that he is alive for a purpose. He has returned to Nicaragua, even to the very property where he was born, to build a home that would rescue, nurture, disciple, and train teen moms during their pregnancies and provide after care for them and their children. In this way, these overlooked and abandoned people find hope and discover their identity in Christ.
