Missions and Outreach

Hills Church is committed to reaching to touch the world with the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ. Here’s some of the ways we participate in expanding God’s Kingdom, globally, nationally, and locally.

Missions | Global

Hills Church has a history of releasing and partnering missionaries and supporting ministry around the world.

Jacaranda Community | Nairobi, Kenya (FMI)

After a more than a decade of evangelistic ministry, Garry and Brenda Kean moved to Kenya in September of 2006 with their three girls and their fourth daughter was born in Nairobi. Jacaranda Christian Fellowship was planted in the home of Garry & Brenda Kean. It grew into a church and officially launched in January 2009. It continues to help form strategic interdenominational partnerships for developing citywide evangelism, worship, youth and children’s ministries and work to bridge several denominations and missions organizations within Kenya. At the same time, Jacaranda Creations was launched, creating jobs for widows and single mothers in the slums of Nairobi through the trade of sewing. The ministry expanded and now also provides care and protection for the children of these women through education (Jacaranda Academics) and health care (Jacaranda Care). The mission of Jacaranda Community is to meet the spiritual and physical needs throughout the city of Nairobi.

Hope For Israel | Jerusalem, Israel

Hope for Israel was founded by Moran Rosenblit in 2000 as a result of a burning vision placed by God in Moran’s heart to return to Israel to share the hope he found in Messiah with the people of Israel. Hope For Israel is: Responding to Yeshua’s call to make disciples through small group discipleship. Extending God’s hand of mercy through humanitarian aid and outreach projects. Providing financial support for believers suffering difficulties or persecution. Supporting indigenous congregations. Equipping the Body of Messiah to bring the hope of Messiah back to Israel.

Revolutionary Life | Chattanooga TN

Dustan & Darlene Stanley are missionary evangelists, hosts of The Revolutionary Life television program airing in over 50 million homes world-wide (via TBN Networks and Angel Networks), and authors. They were married in 2007 and one year later they gave away everything to go preach Jesus around the world. Together, they’ve traveled to over twenty nations, from the largest cities to the most remote villages, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their goal is to see millions surrender themselves to Jesus Christ, to inspire this generation to live truly revolutionary lives in Christ Jesus through media, and to plant a missionary training camp in the USA that sends no less than 10,000 well trained Gospel labors into the world.

Reach Russia | Chelyabinsk, Russia (FMI)

In 2011, FMI Europe Area Missionary Jeff Roper sent Steve and Kim Cecil an email with the question: “Would you consider becoming missionaries to Russia to help develop the national work?” Incredibly, the call was 18 years in the making. In 1994, after taking classes focused on the ex-Soviet Union, Kim sensed from God a lifelong call to the Russian people. She graduated with a degree in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin in 1996, with a specialization in Russian and Slavic culture. She taught English in the Russian-speaking city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 1997-98. After marrying Steve in 1998, they continued to sense God’s call to this part of the world and traveled there on and off for the next 14 years, even while serving as youth pastors and church planters. Now they, and their 3 children are working with the Russian National Foursquare Church equipping leaders for church planting.

The Foursquare family may have started in the U.S., but our family has grown far beyond the U.S. border. We now have over 88,000 ministers in 68,000 churches and meeting places serving more than 7 million members in over 136 countries around the world. In addition, we have 100 missionaries serving local people, not to mention thousands of people joining them on short-term missions trips each year. Hills Church is proud to be a part of one of the most influential and effective missions organizations in existence.

Motor Racing Outreach (MRO) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1988 to serve the NASCAR Sprint Cup racing community. Over the years, MRO has evolved due to the requests for our services from other forms of motor sports like stock car, motorcycle, and powerboat racing. Our efforts and resources are directed towards four opportunities of ministry; touring series ministry, fan outreach and evangelism, in-homes and race shop discipleship, and lastly, the development of the Motor Racing Outreach Association (MROA) which facilitates ministry for local tracks and regional racing series.

Pastor Jeff Hamilton is a member of the MROAssociation and serves as Chaplain for Auto Club Speedway in Fontana CA.

Local Outreach

South Orange County

Fellowship of Christian Athletes reaches over 5000 students a week through gatherings on nearly every High School campus in Orange County. FCA equips, trains, and encourages students and coaches to stand firm in Christ and to reach out to thier friends. Last year (2011/2012) over 500 students gave their life to Jesus Christ. We support FCA because:

  • FCA campus ministry brings a clear gospel message to the public school campus, a light in the darkness.
  • FCA invests intimately in the student’s spiritual development by partnering with the local church community.
  • FCA develops students to impact their campuses for Christ.
